This fun take on the OG health drink is inspired by a cocktail called Anti-Inflammatory, by Indian restaurant Saffron NOLA in New Orleans. It's ideal for a bright weekend brunch, or barbecues in the balmy summer evenings that will soon be upon us! Skip the cognac if you're a teetotaller.
2.5 tbsp cognac
Almost 2 cups coconut milk
1 tbsp honey
Garnish: a pinch of Red Chilli
Dry-roast 1 tbsp turmeric powder in a pan for 3-5 minutes on medium heat, then stir the roasted turmeric into the coconut milk.
And the cognac, honey and 3 tbsp of the turmeric infused coconut milk to a shaker and dry-shake (i.e. shake without ice).
Pour over crushed ice and garnish with a pinch of red chilli powder.
Sit down, relax and enjoy whilst giving yourself a pat on the back for a job well done 😊
